Volunteer for us
Volunteering for BeyondAutism can be a hugely rewarding experience. We are always interested to hear from individuals who wish to support our work by volunteering their time in the following ways:
Becoming a Trustee
This is an exciting time for BeyondAutism and we are looking for motivated Trustees to join our Board. Trustees play a vital part in driving our strategy and progressing our work towards a world where every autistic child and young adult accesses an education which empowers a life full of choice, independence and opportunities. If you would like to become a Trustee please contact the Clerk to Trustees.
Volunteering at events
You can help to make a difference by volunteering at one of our events. Volunteers play a vital role in making events a success. Whether that’s by helping with a bucket collection, forming a cheer squad at a challenge event or helping out with a fundraising event. If event volunteering appeals to you, get in touch to find out what’s coming up.
Volunteering your skills and experience
You can help by offering pro-bono advice and support to our charity team. For example, by providing design work, producing a charity film or providing mentoring support. We would also love to hear from people who can offer work experience opportunities for our Sixth Form students for a half day a week during term time. Tasks could include administrative duties and practical skills such as laminating, photocopying, posting, filing, and making tea/coffee.
Volunteering at our services
You can help to support our teaching team in ensuring the daily needs of our pupils are met in a professional, competent, safe and fun school environment. Volunteers undertake a wide variety of tasks within the services. For example, preparing displays, making teaching materials, supervising playtime and assisting with extra-curricular activities during the school day.
