Classroom behaviour management – advanced behaviour training

Course overview This CPD-certified course is an advanced look at behaviour, and is a follow on from the introduction to behaviour analysis training. To take this course, you must have completed Introduction to behaviour analysis. By the end of this course you will:

• Build upon your existing knowledge and understanding around the individual needs and behaviours of autistic learners
• Understand how differences in sensory processing can impact how an autistic learner copes within the classroom/school environment
• Learn how positive behaviour support can be implemented as a school wide model
• Learn how to create a supportive and structured classroom environment tailored to autistic learners
• Develop proactive strategies to reduce the likelihood of behaviours that challenge
• Gain practical tools to de-escalate and manage behaviours that challenge
• Build confidence in promoting positive interactions and communication
