Course Overview
- This online course is an advanced look at autism, and is a follow on from the introduction to autism training for professionals. That course is a pre-requisite for this training
- The course is designed to provide the participant with an increased understanding of autism, some specific profiles of autism and autism identity
- The course will take around 4-6 hours to complete

By the end of this course, you will:
- Understand more about specific features of autism including executive functioning, theory of mind and sensory experiences
- Have an increased understanding of co-occurring conditions with autism such as PDA, ADHD sleep issues, feeding selectivity and mental health – anxiety
- Learn about neurodiversity, autistic identity and advocacy
