Cirencester College is a sixth-form college with its main campus situated on the outskirts of Cirencester, Gloucestershire. The College provides courses and support for students with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities but it is not a specialist LDD college. Cirencester Sixth From College has an extensive provision of courses from level 1 to level 6 for young people from 16 to 18 yeras and 19+ years. Cirencester Sixth Form College is also an apprenticeship provider. Learning Support Workers (LSWs) are employed by the College to enable students who have additional support needs to access the curriculum. All progress and support will be reviewed on a regular basis via the college tutorial systems and the student support reviews. Academic Support Specialists offer individual help to SEND students who require additional support with their studies. Some support is given on a drop in basis but most students attend a regular weekly tutorial during their individual study time. An individual learning plan will be agreed, based on student needs, and reviewed each term. Staff will be available at Parents’ Evenings. The college also liaise with teachers and tutors and Learning Support Workers to ensure that support is tailored to individual needs.
