Alan Shearer Activity Centre

The Alan Shearer Activity Centre is the only one of its kind in the North East offering free recreational, sensory and social facilities for disabled children and adults, their families, schools and groups. Being a member of the Activity Centre provides free access to a range of specialised facilities, including the centre’s recently extended and refurbished hydrotherapy suite, sensory cave and sensory rooms, giant ball pool and creative music room. The centre has also adapted outside play areas and an accessible woodland walk as well as its own on-site cafe, Browne’s.
