Bilingualism in autism: measuring the impact of a new resource hub
This study is piloting a new website, which contains high-quality, research-backed educational resources about autism and bilingualism. We are interested in how effective this new website is at educating three groups about this topic: parents of autistic children in bilingual families, educators, and clinicians (such as SLTs, GPs, clinical psychologists). Participants need to be aged 18+, and should belong to at least one of the above groups (parents, educators, or clinicians), but do not need to know anything about bilingualism and autism to participate, nor do they need to be autistic or bilingual.
The study involves two brief online questionnaires, one month apart. To participate, please click the following link to take the first survey: https://edin.ac/3WVcuNp. If you have any questions, please contact the researcher below.

Hypersensitivity to change in the environment: Experiences of autistic adults
The purpose of the study is to learn about how autistic people experience the noticing of changes in their environment, and how that might make them feel. Participants need to be 18 or over with a formal diagnosis of autism. They need to have received their diagnosis before the age of 18. If an individual decides to take part, they will read and sign a consent form on Qualtrics and then answer some questions about their age, gender, level of education, and age of autism diagnosis. They will then be interviewed on Zoom at a time and date that is convenient for them. The interview is expected to last approximately 30 minutes. For more information, contact the researcher below:

Caregivers Experiences of Accessing Crisis Services to Support Children with Learning Disabilities
This study aims to explore lived experiences of caregivers accessing telephone crisis services for support for their child with learning disability. Participants will be given the opportunity to share their stories and experiences by taking part in this study. The research may highlight gaps in service provision and procedures which can guide further research in this area. Participants need to be English speaking caregivers, aged 18 and over, of a child with a learning disability who live in England and have accessed telephone crisis services within the last 12 months for support. If you meet the criteria, you will be invited to take part in an online one-to-one interview with Laura, the lead researcher. This will be arranged for a time that suits you and the interview will last about an hour. You will be asked about your lived experience of accessing telephone crisis services to support your child with learning disability. If you would like more information of would like to take part, please contact Laura via email.
