Trusts and foundations are vital partners in our mission to support autistic children, young adults and their families. These generous organisations provide essential funding that allows us to deliver vital services, develop innovative programmes, and advocate for a more inclusive society for autistic individuals.
By supporting BeyondAutism, Trusts and Foundations enable us to reach more people and make a real difference in the lives of autistic people and their families. We are incredibly grateful for the past support we’ve received and look forward to building strong partnerships with new funders to ensure a brighter future for all autistic children and young adults. Trusts we have worked with include…
City Bridge Foundation
In 2020 City Bridge Foundation provided a 5-year grant to develop our employability project. This included:
developing a toolkit of resources to be used within our services and beyond
developing vocational assessments, person-centred plans, and referral systems for our students to enter employment and related activities
creating training for employers to develop their knowledge
and much more…
Giles Shilson, City Bridge Foundation chairman , said: “We’re so pleased to be able to support the work BeyondAutism is doing, breaking down the barriers that too often prevent young people with multiple and complex needs from entering the world of work.
“The programme we’ve funded has had a profound impact on the lives of many young people, broadening their horizons, developing their skills and boosting their confidence by providing clear pathways into employment.”
The Thompson Family Charitable Trust
The Trust have been supporters of the charity for a number of years providing grants for BeyondAutism School pupils to access Snowbility activities. Through skiing and snowboarding, our learners have opportunities to pick up new skills from communication to fine motor skills in a different environment. These trips are only possible through the support of The Thompson Family Charitable Trust.
“We decided to support Beyond Autism because we felt strongly that children who are given the opportunity to ski will build their self-confidence and, this will hopefully filter through every aspect of their lives.”
