BeyondAutism achieved great success at this year’s Color Obstacle Rush event. Our dedicated runners had an unforgettable day immersed in vibrant colours, fun, and a lively festival-like atmosphere.
The runners enjoyed various activities, including glitter tattoos, basking in the sun, and getting covered in paint, making the event a truly joyful experience.
Upon entering the event, they were welcomed with a dynamic dance warm-up at the stage area, preparing them for the exciting challenge ahead. As they made their way to the start line, they knew they were about to embark on a unique 5k run.
The course itself offered a fun adventure with inflatable obstacles, foam machines, and powder paint. With determination and support from fellow runners, they conquered each obstacle, proudly crossing the finish line drenched in vibrant colours.
The post-race celebration served as a well-deserved reward. The runners enjoyed the after-party atmosphere, relished delicious street food, and shared stories of their experiences throughout the day.
We would like to say a heartfelt thanks to all the incredible runners who joined us, including DLD College, who brought a total of nine participants, including six students and three teachers. Check out more about their experience here.
We are also immensely grateful for the dedication of our seven runners, including a parent and an Early Years staff member, who made invaluable fundraising contributions. Together, they have raised over £3000 in donations, supporting our mission to provide leading educational services for autistic children and young adults.
