ConnectAT Youth Group

ConnectAT run a Youth Groups on Thursdays at The Dursley Tabernacle, Dursley (term-time only). This is for young people from 11 to 18 years old who have high functioning Autistic Spectrum Conditions who find mainstream groups difficult to access. The group runs termly programmes of in and out activities, with the focus on social, emotional and wellbeing as well as life skills as appropriate. There is a small weekly charge. There is then a follow group for those over 18 years old who meet at the Vibe Youth Centre in Dursley most weeks (term time only). This is for those with High Functioning Autistic Spectrum Conditions who are still finding accessing mainstream social activities difficult. There is a weekly programme of events with a mix of in and out sessions. Occasionally outings are run alongside the ConnectAT Group where appropriate. This group is aimed at developing social skills, friendships and having an enjoyable time alongside other like minded individuals, with emotional and social support available as necessary. There is a small weekly charge for this.
