Tram House Topping Out Ceremony

Yesterday afternoon (24th July) we held a topping out ceremony at the new Tram House. A topping out ceremony is a longstanding tradition in the building industry. It marks the completion of the actual structure, and is meant to bring good luck to the new building.

The ceremony was celebrated by our Chair of Trustees, CEO and the project team, as well as a few representatives from other major funders of the redevelopment. It was a small and informal ceremony, with drinks and nibbles, and a few words by our Chair and CEO.

We can’t wait for the rest of the building to be completed for the new academic year!
