Lewisham Local

Lewisham Local is the name of the charity that has existed for over 20 years serving local communities in Lewisham. The charity is also known by the name of Rushey Green Time Bank.

Their offer currently reflects the ongoing COVID pandemic and one-one exchanges are suspended at the moment unless they can take place via Zoom. They are running scheduled groups that can be attended by Time Bank members.

What they do

• Strengthen Lewisham’s voluntary & community sector
• Connect individuals, organisations and businesses to the community and increase awareness of the good causes and needs in the community
• Encourage all to give and share time, skills, expertise, knowledge, resources and money to help make Lewisham a better place
• Promote an asset-based model that makes the most of what we already have in Lewisham
