Informed Families

Informed Families is Enfield’s Family Information Services for 0-25 year olds. It provides advice, signposting and information on: a Family Information Directory on registered childcare in Enfield including childminders, nurseries, pre-school play groups, before and after school clubs and holiday play schemes; a brokerage service to support families to find suitable childcare options to meet their needs; signposting Special Education Needs and Disability Services including the Local Offer.

The Local Offer outlines information on available services for children, young people and families in Enfield; Enfield Children’s Centres; and information about working in childcare. It provides childcare information on: funded Early Years Education and Childcare: Terrific Twos (2 year old funding); 30 Hours – Funded childcare for 3 and 4 year olds; 3 and 4 Year Old Entitlement – 15 hours funding for 3 and 4 year olds; a Childcare Entitlement Flowchart; and how to find Childcare, get help paying for it and what to do if your circumstances change: A step by step guide.
